Seriously,This Kid Can Bust Out Yo Eardrums

Tiny has released a whole new arsenal of tricks. Starting with the scream. Anytime she wants out of baby jail or the playroom she stands there and screams. Not cries. Screams. Our conversation goes like this:

BE: Tiny one sec I need to go pee pee (yes, I say pee pee she doesn't know what urinate means)

Tiny: EEEEEEEEEEEAHHHHHHHHBAHBAHHHHHAHHHH(at this point my ears are ringing)AAAAA

BE: Ok, Baby one minute I will be right there!

Tiny: AHHHHHHHHHHHHAHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAA

BE:  I got ya Baby please PLEASE one more minute.

Tiny: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

She is also standing full time now and surprises the heck out of herself every time she goes from sitting to standing. She also gets this hilarious look on her face when you tell her "No Tiny".

Momma say WHAT!!??!!??

BG has been traveling on a weird schedule. He has been in and out randomly for the past two weeks. Last night I went grocery shopping WITH BOTH THE GIRLS BY MYSELF.  It was terrifying but I had to do it because we do need to eat. Little was a team player and let me pile groceries all around her in the shopping cart, so as a bribe I purchased her some chocolate pudding for BIZZERT (dessert). Tiny just chilled with some lettuce. Then we went by Sonic for some dinner...because even though I had a car full of food who feels like cooking after you have spent a hour and a half truckin' around the grocery store. It was also 7:30 and my kids get grumpy when they are hungry.

Little is dancing to GLEE in the background
HEHE Turkey Hat! Little keeps putting it on Tiny's head. Tiny doesn't mind and I think it is hilarious. Things like this make everything all worth while. ANYWAYS...I watched GLEE which was ok, The New Girl which I really am enjoying, and Raising Hope which I am liking more and more. I was a little disappointed in the GLEE song choices/number of songs but not every episode has to be a home run. I do have to say that How I Met Your Mother this week was really good. Lilly got her pregnancy boobs. Enough TV. It will rot your brain out.

#BURN

OOOOH! I forgot I promised you cake pictures. There are none. We didn't make a cake. BUT we did make some brownies out of a box! YAY!  AND I did take a few pictures...here.

Mommy I Brought Daddy a Poptart in The Shower

September is a special month in our house. Our anniversary is at the beginning of the month and BG's Birthday is near the end. Today BG turns 31 years old.

We have simple plans today. So far BG is taking a shower and Little has brought him "breakfast in shower". While I was on the phone with the Female Cruiser this morning she goes tearing into the kitchen. Our conversation was as follows:

BE: Watcha' doin' ?

Little: Its Daddy's birthday and he wants a Poptart.

BE: In the shower? It will get all wet.

Little : Ok I will put it on this chair. Don't eat it and it was stay fresh until he is out of the shower.

BE: Ok.

Little (picks up poptarts and runs out of room) I give them to daddy IN the shower!

10 minutes later I hear from the bathroom:

Little: DAD where are the Poptarts?

BG : I ate all but a little piece.

Little: Can i have the rest? (I dont let her have poptarts they are for BG ONLY)

BG: Sure. (Oy!)

SO now she is eating Poptart and running around the house saying she needs to find candles for the cake.

BG's B-day Present = The Water Bill

The big project of the day will be the cake. Both girls and I are going to bake his cake and make icing from scratch. Little loves to help cook but is feeling a little full of herself today. That plus the sugary Poptart are bound to make an intersting baking experience for us today. She has already asked 10 times in the last half hour WHEN will we be starting on this cake. Other then Poptarts we haven't even started breakfast yet. (Well, Tiny has been fed of course.) So here I go. Wish me luck. I will take pictures.

AND Happy Birthday to BG! I love you babe and I hope next year is better than the last! I am so happy that you were born.

Join Me in The War Against.....

Ladies and Gentlemen. I have something very important to speak to you about today. It is a trend we in this house have seen a lot of lately and I feel that sharing our story can help some of you unsuspecting parents out there. The often hidden issue is your child accidentally beating you. Now, I know there is some shame that comes along when a child accidentally hurts you but this is an issue that you should not stay quiet about any longer. I, too, have been accidentally beaten by my baby. It was a quiet night watching TV and suddenly BLAM! remote control to the eye. Today I visited my eye doctor because the twitching had not yet stopped. My friends...I am now a sufferer of Traumatic Iritis. My eye doctor laughed a little when she came in the room "trauma by remote " is apparently funny. This is something that will heal quickly after some drops and be nothing more then a bother for a few days but still I am speaking up!

Ole' Blue Eye

As you remember BG was injured at the hands of Little just a week ago and we as a family say "Speak up! Speak up against your children accidentally injuring you! Speak up against having to spend money to make sure your nose isn't broken! Speak up against $21.23 worth of anti-inflammatory eye drops! Speak up!"

Thank you. God Bless America and God Bless you.

Mondays Suck

Last Monday Little almost broke BG's nose. I currently think my eyeball is going to fall out. Tiny bashed it. Hard. With a remote control. Because the new show 2 Broke Girls was making her so happy...or  really really mad.

My Tiny Face Basher

We suck at Mondays. Anything that could spill today did. I am serious. Ask my coworkers. Little had a goodnight tantrum (instead of a goodnight story and hug)  and BG leaves tomorrow and has no clothes packed at all. He is currently out getting cat food and something sweet for me to eat. God bless him. Tiny has a "cloudy" ear, is now on antibiotics, and keeps spitting up. She has also been really talkative today the Tiny word of the day is" BA". At one point, when I was cooking dinner at my local Japanese drive-thru place, the teenage boy at the window said " Have a nice night!" Then he looked at me and listened to Tiny screaming and Little having a diva-off with her sister in the back seat and said "Well ....try." His look of horror was so cute. He made me laugh. Little summed it up best today...after driving back and forth between TWO CVS' on the same road for a half a hour she exclaimed " Mom, My nerves are shot!" ...back at ya Little....back at ya.

So Much For My Folded Laundry.

Whelp at least tomorrow is Tuesday!

Take it from your Mumsy

There is a conspiracy going on in this household. The girls and BG against me. Here's the deal. Little said DADA first. So when Tiny came along and said MAMA first I was pleased as punch. But here's the thing.....Tiny knows who DADA is and when he comes home she squeals for him...When she wants to breastfeed she says MAMA. So therefore in Tiny's mind MAMA= BOOBS. Now I take breastfeeding as my most important and voluntary job. I love that no matter how many hours a week I work and no matter what else happens I am providing the best for my baby by breastfeeding her.....but can't a woman get a name around here...I suddenly feel like I am being used for my boobs. Oh well.
That's My Girl!
Speakin' of names. Little has been calling me Mumsy. She loves it. I think it's funnier then heck. I will totally rock Mumsy. Guess where she got Mumsy...yeah that's right... Tangled.

Yeah We have one of these too.
FYI Little had an AWESOME game today. She got right out on the field no problem. Didn't hurt we offered more bribes then Jimmy Hoffa. First I offered Monkey Joe's (inflatable play place) if she played then the Female Cruiser threw in ice cream. What can i say people from Jersey know how the make things happen. I have been in the south long enough for the 55 degree weather this morning to feel freezing but we bundled up and Little was so cute running up and down the field. The Ninjas smeared the other 3 and 4 year olds....I know  you aren't supposed to keep score but after a while it was so obvious that the Ninjas kicked some...hind end. (We don't say butt in our house anymore and ass is so beyond not allowed.)

How Ninjas Warm up

How Ninjas Chill

How Ninja kick some Hind End

Good Game

Tiny Hiya!
Little Hiya!

After Ninja time ( Hiya!) We picked up Panthers Fan's canine friend from the vet and dropped him off at home. Then met Unc at a "deli" for lunch. By definition it is a deli but it's more like a fancy food boutique. Not anything like a REAL deli but the food is great. Then on to Monkey Joe's to pay up on our part of the bribe. The Female Cruiser still needs to pay up on the ice cream. After BG and Little had a blast jumping around like a bunch of three year olds we headed to get coffee and a "nack" (Little speak for snack) I had my first cup of coffee in almost 20 months. Tiny has not yet exploded but I am on standby with a camera in case it happens. (thanks for the tip Baltimore Uncle) It has been a great family day. We even Skyped on my cell phone with the Male Cruiser who is somewhere. Little wanted so badly to tell him about her game. I really hope to get to church tomorrow... truthfully it's really hard for me to get out of bed on Sunday morning and it won't happen without me. Maybe I need to invent something to get my family dressed without me.....hmmmmm.

Oh! I almost forgot. UPDATE on the "Tiny climbs the baby gate" situation....

PROBLEM SOLVED

Panther's game with Unc and Female Cruiser tomorrow. The Cruiser says she is going to make something good to eat and let's face it...I'm not there for the football.

So long, Farewell,

How Little Almost Broke BG's Nose

First of all I will get to what I know you all really want to know about...Yes, Tiny pooped today. Just kidding. BG and I are the only people who care about that at all. It's like some kinda crazy parenting thing. You have a kid or two and suddenly your life revolves around who pooped when and what did it look like.

All handsome with a swollen nose.

Ok, back to stuff that isn't poo related. BG's nose and how Little almost broke it. Once upon a time there was a family of four who was hanging out and discussing what the ever so beautiful mother was going to prepare for dinner. The Little and the BG were wrestling and as always someone got hurt. He pulled her back towards him and she head butted him. It was his own fault and he admits it. First I checked on her and once I was convinced her super hard as a rock head was ok I checked on BG. BG didn't look so good and his nose had started to swell. So I shipped him off to Urgent Care where it took 2 hours to tell him his nose is bruised. The doctor said it should be broken and it is more rare to have a bruised nose. This doesn't make BG feel any better and he is currently nursing a monster headache. Little was devastated. She need several explanations and assurances that this was an accident and we know she didn't hurt Daddy on purpose. Funny  part ...He brought her home a copy of his x-ray.  She now has it on her bulletin board above her bed so "When I wake up I can see it Mom".

Hard Headed Little One

X-ray front and center

So that is the tale of the almost broken nose and our Monday evening.

Little's Big Game

Yesterday was the big day! Little got up and ready for her big game. I had to work so I met BG, Unc, and the kids at the soccer field. Little ran over and hid between my legs. That should have been my first clue that this would be no ordinary soccer game.

Before the game!

Little did not warm up, or do the team cheer "Hiya!", or play at all.

Heading to the bench.

We did manage to get her out on the field once. Coach asked her to kick the ball. She toed it with her cleat and the collapsed.

Time on the field

BG and I were fussing at each other because of lack of sleep, lack of chairs, and lack of video camera.

At least she watched her teammates play.

Little did want to climb a tree and have a snack. It's ok. I hope she will become more comfortable playing. I think she was nervous about there being so many people watching. At least Tiny had fun playing in the grass!

Yay Tiny!!!

So...what we learned...Little may not play in a game at all this season. Is that ok? Yes it is. She may or may not play but she has fun at practice and is just learning about soccer.

Oh and this morning she tells me "Mom I am not dramatic...I am just a kid." What do I say to that?

The not so much "Soccer" Soccer Mom,

5 Things I Don't Dig As Much As The Things I Dig

So the kids are asleep. They both fell asleep on the way home from soccer practice. Yay Coach! I decided to sit down and write a companion to my Things I Dig  post. I felt that doing 10 things I dislike was too negative. So here are 5 things I don't dig.

Me.With 3D glasses on.

1) 3D Movies for kids. Little loves to go to the movies but she doesn't want to have to sit there and wear glasses just to enjoy them. And I don't want to sit there and tell her a million times to put on the glasses. And I don't want to have to pay more money so she can sit there and complain about the glasses. I am sure most children aren't wild about 3D.

Stupid 3D Glasses

2) People referring to Tiny as "him" or "he". She is a girl. See her purple and/or pink onesie. SEE!

It even says GIRL on it.

3) Walmart. I just can't do it. I have tried and tried and I just can't. I hold no judgement for those of you who can. I wish I was you. I just can't. I will send BG though. Something about the place raises my blood pressure the moment I pass the greeter and I become unpleasant to my poor souls who have dared crossed the threshold with me.

The stress begins.

4)Madonna. Did love her. Now she's a bit scary. She's all crazy alien arms AND who the HELL doesn't like hydrangeas. (My wedding flower thank you.)

Made the picture as small as I could.

5) Having to Buy Gasoline. This is more then something I just don't dig. I loath it. I am really bad to run my tank almost empty because I hate to stop. I hate the smell and the people just standing there trying to act like everyone isn't looking at each other. I hate when I have to go inside and get the kids out of the car so no one steals them and I don't go to jail. I hate the price. I hate that I have a Gas APP on my phone to find the cheapest gas when I know I am going to run my tank to E and have to just stop at the closest place. Ok...enough hating gasoline...Oh! and I hate that it makes terrorist richer...yeah the terrorist how could I forget them. Ok now I am done...for now.

Loathing. Pure and Simple.

Going to fold a bunch of clothes,

BE

"Go fetch Tiny!" - Little

This weekend was not so much fun. I am proud to say we got at least two rooms in the house organized and  moved around and we got sunburn. The kids have a playroom now but I have lost my den to clothes. Also, Our anniversary dinner was reduced to seeing Our Idiot Brother and eating Cookout on the living room floor. BUT I did get some candy!

Saturday we went to the birthday party and had a great time. Both kids love to be in the water so the pool at Little's friend's house was a hit. There were also princess crowns, a bouncy castle with slide, and a train that drove the kids around the neighborhood. They also had pizza and some of the best baked Ziti I have had in forever. We were at the party for about 3 hours and on the way home it became clear the entire family had sunburn. The girls fell asleep on the way home. We then had Unc come over and watch them for our date. We left my poor brother with two sunburned grumpy kids and headed to the movies. So when I called and checked on them after the movie I was not at all surprised when he said " Come Home". We grabbed some Cookout and two movies from Blockbuster (I know, do people really ever go there anymore?)  and headed home. We had a very romantic dinner with our children crawling on us while begging for hush puppies. It was pretty much the perfect way to spend the night. We got married to spend the rest of our lives together and to start a family. What better way to celebrate our marriage then with our girls. Someday a long time from now our children will be grown up enough that we can have an anniversary alone and when that day comes we will enjoy it and miss them.

Playroom

Only thing purchased for playroom? TV stand.

Sunday and Monday are a blur of clothes. We cleaned out both girls' dressers and closets and started to pack everything they can't wear away. We also moved Tiny into Little's room and made Tiny's room a playroom. I sanitized toys and brought out toys Little had forgotten about. We are still working on sorting out all the clothes and getting them packed up and to the attic. Playroom is a success except Tiny has now learned to clime the baby gate. Oy.

PROBLEM

Tuesday was a great first day at school for both girls. Little missed the teachers and her friends and was super happy to be back. Wednesday was busy day also. Little had her first Music Makers choir practice at church and we had Wednesday night dinner afterwards. This is the first time I have gone and I had a great time and look forward to continuing.

1st day of  3 year old class!
And here we are today...BG has been gone for a day and will be back tomorrow! Yay short trip! Little has her first soccer game on Saturday! Today after I picked them up from school we went and payroll deducted (I try not to say buy in case BG is reading) me some new scrubs for work. Male Cruiser says scrubs are the ugliest thing a person can wear...he is going to be thrilled with my orange and hot pink Hello Kitty Halloween scrubs.BAHAHAHA. Tiny has been in preschool for 3 days and she already seems more grown up to me. She seems to really be playing more with toys, standing more, and cruising more. *sob* Insert cliche about children growing up too fast. Little keeps telling Tiny to fetch things. I am not sure if she just wants a dog or just likes to boss her sister around. We will not be getting a dog.

My Tiny Girl

So that's about all for now. I have tons more to say but not much time to say it this week. Don't worry I will be back soon!

The BIG EVENT

So for a week now Facebook has been reminding me that today is my wedding anniversary. It states:

" BIG EVENTS :  Your anniversary with BG is on September 3rd. Send him a message."

Ok so first of all who relies on FACEBOOK to remind them of their wedding date...if you do you are lame. I understand people's birthdays because, well, I suck at remembering birthdays, but the DAY YOU MARRIED SOMEONE????  Second of all...send him a message?!?!  BAHAHA if he's getting a message it will be right here on my blog not on facebook !!! How dumb do they think I am? Do I have a message for BG I would LIKE to share on my blog you ask? Why, yes, thank you dear reader I DO. (That's what he said)

10 Things I Dig

Neil Patrick Harris has been posting on twitter things he digs. So far its has been Pottery Barn Kids (um Amen) and creepy ventriloquist dummies. I think that is creepy and brave. Creepy because well, it is, and brave because when those dummies come to life an attack NPH will be the first to go. So, this is a post about things I dig. Not necessarily material things because you need money to buy material things. Unless you want to send me free stuff to review on this blog. Come on people, free publicity to like 20 people a day.  I am not including breastfeeding or my family....I more than dig those things.

The man who inspired this post.

1) Speaking of him...Neil Patrick Harris. He was Doogie Houser. He also won an Emmy for his guest spot on GLEE (see number 7) and also did a stint in RENT. Add Sesame Street and How I Met Your Mother and you have a winner in my book. He isn't even my favorite character on HIMYM  so his awesome points for that one are low. It's all his other work that makes him awesome. (Not legendary)

2) Law & Order: SVU. Three words. Detective Olivia Benson.

Did you know her mother was Jayne Mansfield?

3) Adele. I like the name. I like the singer. AND she's a curvy girl which makes it even better.

4) Pepsi. The reason I am a curvy girl. I don't want any of that diet crap. I want good old fashioned all American Pepsi. I need the caffeine and the sugar to start my day thank you.

5) Babies in Babylegs. I love babylegs! There is nothing that makes a cute baby even cuter than slapping on a pair of baby legwarmers. Disclaimer: People please don't go around slapping your baby just because I said so. I now give Babylegs as baby gifts all the time because they are so frickin' cute AND they look even better with cloth diapers. BABYLEGS IS HAVING A SALE HALF OFF EVERYTHING UNTIL 9/6/11!!! So Internet run over to www.babylegs.com for some Babyleg fun!

Your baby can be this cute. Just buy Babylegs.

6) www.Amazon.com. You can buy anything on Amazon. I used to not get it. Now I do and it makes me very very happy.

Glee + Me= Luv
 7) GLEE. This is the only TV show I run to watch...maybe I shouldn't run. maybe I should make up a "going to watch Glee" dance. Hmmmmmm. I love the music, I love the dancing, and I love that the show doesn't make me feel pervy. Let me explain. For the first time I have a crush on the fake high school teacher and not the fake high school students. Now I know the "high school students" are my age but they are supposed to be in high school per the FOX decree. There is something so cute about the curly hair and vest combo. And anyway how else would I learn about such hits as "Blame it on the Alcohol" which I just may do once I am finished breastfeeding. Not really.

8) Naming Babies. Now, I have only named my two and I have at least two babies named after me but I really like coming up with names for babies. Current Faves?
For girls: Isla, Amelia, Delilah, and Emmarie.
For Boys: Liam, Nathan, Finley, and Brock.

Feel free to use these when naming your progeny. Future Baby in Heaven's possible names are not listed.

9) Getting a Pedicure/Dark Polish. This is a double whammy. There  is nothing better then sitting back and having someone else scrape, file, and buff your feet into submission. Current nail polish color: OPI Midnight in Moscow.

Don't try this at home. Pay someone.

 Finally...

10) The Fall. Back to school, soccer, cool weather, leaves changing, Halloween, Thanksgiving, pumpkins, camping, and BG, Female Cruiser, and Tiny's birthdays are all wonderful things that come with the fall. I also love Christmas. Which is a direct result of fall and Baby Jesus' birthday.

So there you go...somethings I dig....you dig anything?

Happy Fall in some places and Almost Fall in others,

BE
